American-made 1960s catalog archtop. Single cutaway, two chrome-covered pickups, floating bridge, trapeze tailpiece, sunburst. Truetone was Western Auto's house brand, built by Kay in Chicago. Player grade with real character.

What we know, including the problems
Everything we could research or see, including what we couldn't verify. We would rather tell you now than argue about it later. If something here matters to you, ask before you bid, or come try it on the 19th or 20th.
- Electronics untested. Pickups, pots, and switching have not been checked.
- The pickguard is missing.
- Heavy finish wear: swirls, scratches, edge dings, and a binding chip at the cutaway.
- Kay archtops of this era commonly need a neck reset. Neck angle has not been professionally assessed.
- This is NOT a confirmed 3-pickup 'Speed Demon' K573, which is the more collectible variant. Two-pickup example, model number unconfirmed.
